These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between You and Kiwi General Insurance Limited ("Company", "We", "Us", "Our"), duly licensed by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India ("IRDAI") under the Insurance Act, 1938, and registered vide IRDAI Registration No. 171.
If You do not agree with any of these Terms, You are advised to immediately discontinue use of this Website. Your continued use after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend visiting this page periodically, as changes take effect from the date of posting without any individual notice to Users.
Eligibility and Use of Platform
• The Platform is intended for use by persons who are legally competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
• By using the Platform, you represent that you are minimum 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law.
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any fraudulent, unlawful, or abusive purpose; (b) introduce any virus, malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or related systems; or (c) use any device, software, or routine to interfere with the proper working of the Platform.
Nature, Scope of Website Services, Content and No Advice
Kiwi General Insurance Limited is a fully digital general insurance company providing non-life insurance products including but not limited to motor insurance, health insurance, home insurance, travel insurance, commercial/SME insurance, and cyber insurance. All information, content, material, brochures, product descriptions, premium indications, calculators, tools, and other material hosted on the Platform are provided for general information and illustrative purposes only and are subject to change without prior notice.
They are not intended to, and shall not, be construed as any form of advice, recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy or sell any insurance product.
Disclose all material facts truthfully in the insurance proposal, as required under Section 45 and Section 64VB of the Insurance Act, 1938. The terms and conditions of the relevant insurance policy as contained in the policy wording, schedule, proposal form, Customer Information Sheet and applicable endorsements shall alone govern the scope of coverage, exclusions, conditions, warranties, and the rights and obligations of the parties.
In case of any inconsistency between the information on the Platform and the policy contract issued to you, the policy contract shall prevail.
You are advised to read the detailed terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations of the respective policy carefully before making any decision and, where necessary, seek independent professional or legal advice.
Digital Policy Issuance and Communications
You acknowledge and consent that policies may be issued, delivered, and serviced digitally, including via documents shared through your registered email-ID, mobile number, customer portal, or other electronic means, including systems such as Digi Locker/ Vahaan/ CKYC, subject to applicable IRDAI directions. You agree that such electronic records and communications have the same legal validity as physical documents to the extent permitted under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.
It is your responsibility to maintain accurate and updated contact details, including email-ID and mobile number, and to regularly review your communications and Platform account for important information relating to your policy.
Online Transactions — Premium Payment
Premium payments made through the Website are processed via a RBI authorised Payment Aggregator/Payment Gateway. By initiating a premium payment, You authorise the Company to initiate a charge to Your designated payment method.
The Company ensures:
• All payment data is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols;
• No storage of complete card/bank account details on Company servers beyond permissible requirements;
• Compliance with RBI's Guidelines on Payment Aggregators and Payment Gateways (2020);
• Compliance with PCI-DSS standards as applicable.
Policy coverage commences only upon receipt and realisation of full premium as per policy terms. The Company shall not be responsible for any failure of the payment gateway due to reasons beyond its control, including but not limited to bank outages, network failures, or maintenance activities. In such cases, You shall be entitled to a full refund of the debited amount within the timeline prescribed under applicable RBI/IRDAI circulars.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or resources for convenience only. The Company does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or services of any third-party website. Accessing third-party links is entirely at Your own risk. The Company's terms and policies cease to apply from the moment You navigate to a third-party site. Creation of hyperlinks to this Website without prior written consent from the Company is strictly prohibited.
